Child safety standards and CSAE policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

App name: Peple. Developer: Peple ([email protected]).

Peple is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and secure platform for all users. Protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is a top priority.

Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

Peple has a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors
  • Any attempt to create, share, request, or promote CSAE-related content

Any user found engaging in such activities will face immediate account suspension or termination. Where required by law, Peple will report CSAE and CSAM-related incidents to appropriate law enforcement and child protection authorities.

User safety

  • Peple is for people aged 18 and over. Sign-in uses a mobile number and a one-time password.
  • An account suspected of unsafe behaviour involving a minor is restricted and reviewed.
  • Personal information is handled as described in the privacy policy, and contact details on a listing are only what the owner chose to show.
  • Report a concern in the app, or write to [email protected].

Provider standards

  • People who list a service or a business must follow the law that applies to what they offer.
  • Anyone who breaks child-safety rules, or tries to exploit a minor, is removed. Where the law requires it, Peple reports the incident to the authorities.

Standards for everyone

  • Harassment, abuse, or exploitation — especially of a minor — leads to immediate suspension.
  • People can contact each other by a phone call that a person starts, or through Peple’s in-app chat. In chat, a phone number is not shown unless the two people already have each other as contacts.
  • Messages from someone a person has not chatted with before arrive as a message request, which can be accepted, declined or blocked.
  • Any user can block another user or report a person or message in chat. Reports are reviewed by the Peple team.

Reporting and response

  • Child safety concerns and other incidents can be reported via the Peple app or website.
  • All reports related to child safety and CSAE are handled promptly, confidentially, and with priority.
  • Peple takes appropriate enforcement actions to maintain user safety and platform trust.
